Second Story Outline

After I showed my lecturer the first story outline, his comment are very good. But he try to imagine the shot and scene which make it into video, he found out that it is too long. So, I will have to shorten the story.

Story Outline: A girl finally found inner peace within herself when she was about to kill herself.

“Please… Please save me…”

“No matter how hard I scream, no matter how hard I beg for rescue, no one will rescue me from the beginning…”

A girl was being abuse by her brutal father ever since her mother passed away. When she’s was abused, she tried to scream for help, but no one dares to lend a hand to her or report it to the police.

Until the age of about 13, she couldn’t stand it anymore, so she run away from house and begin to stays at one of her friend’s house. That friend of her lends her one small bottle of drug and challenges her for taking this drug, at the same time the friend said to her everything will be just fine after I have this drug. The girl actually believes in her friend and starts to pour that drug on a pot and then lit a candle under the pot to let it burn. She feels very happy after having this drug and she continue to have it. Until one day, she found out that the drug had finished, so she was planning to commit suicide. By looking at the knife was nearly cut through her skin, suddenly she dare not to do so, and she start crying out loud and run away. When she was crying in an alley, a man pass by and gives her his jacket then walk away. At that moment, she cry even harder, is like being release from the past.

From that moment, she start to work and force herself to quit the drug with the help of one her friend which she know when she’s working.

The first story outline

Story Outline: A girl finally found inner peace within herself when she was about to kill herself.

A properly dress girl was sitting at a café reading a book. When she was about to go back, she saw some of the girls were playing at each other and it seems like they’re drunk. The expression on the girl face change rapidly when she saw those girls were drunk and their expression was not right. She quickly walks away from the place and go back home. Once she reaches home, she unties her hair and washes her face. After washing, she saw her reflection in the mirror. There are scars on her arm, chest and even throat, she recall back of her past.

Her father was a brutal man, once he gets drunk, she and her mother will be the victim of her father. Even if her mother passed away, she still couldn’t escape from her father brutal act. When she’s a teenager, she realizes that there’s no one who can save her from this situation, so her heart start to fall. As soon as she join the gangster, she start smoking, taking drug and even involve in crime. Even though everyday she seems happy as she finally release her inner self, but she still feel hollow deep inside her heart. One day, one of her friend gives her a cigarette, which contain drug inside, she stare at the cigarette and run away from her friend. After running for a few hours, she sits at an alley and took out her pocketknife, and was ready to cut through her wrist. Then there’s one young man stands in front of her, take out his jacket cover her body, then walk away. From the moment when she receives the jacket, she cries out loud. After she cried, she realizes that there’s a name card inside the man’s jacket, so she work with that man.

After recalling back, she sigh and walk out of the bathroom and look around the bedroom which there’s a queen size bed and she smile….

Sketches before going into Final artwork

In this assignment, we are require to choose one fairy tale and make it into another version of it. So, i choose the story of Cinderella. After choosing, we are required choose which category of final artwork we want to work on. So, i chose concept art.

 These are the research for several version of Cinderella. So, I decided to work on my own version of "The Egyptian Cinderella".

Without wasting more time, I start to research on the female costume and accessories in Ancient Egypt.

Then I come out some sketch for the Egyptian Cinderella. Instead of using the name "Cinderella", I change her name to "Khara".

Besides than female costume in Ancient Egypt, I also done some research for male costume for the Pharaoh.

As for the prince, I decide to set him a prince which is from Persia. So, I done research on the costume of Persia, and also watch the movie entitled "The Prince of Persia" to get some inspiration and observe the attire.

 After research, I draw some sketches for the prince. And I decide to named him "Firuz".

Final Design for Magazine

This is the final, which is the magazine that I'm going to submit to my lecturer. In this magazine, I'm going to introduce my Top 5 ranking Pastry shop in Kuala Lumpur.
