Proposal of Three Ideas for Final Project

For design studies 5, we are require to come out with three ideas for our final project. As this is to ensure that we have a back up idea. During Semester 5, we need to carry out all the research, character design and storyboard, and next semester will be executing on it.

Idea 1:
The title of this project will be "Princess Yue’s Journey to the Past." 
The storyline will start of with a young archeology is on her way to the archaeologies place where they have discover the ancient weapons. While they are still digging for more, there’s suddenly a heavy rain and causes the soil to fall off and cover them. When she wakes up, she realizes that she’s lying on a bed and feeling weak. When she saw some weird girls with weird clothing, she just realizes that she had travel to the ancient china period, Han Dynasty and was posses in another princess’ body, which her name is Princess Yue. So she will have to find out a way to go back to her own world.
This final will be in the form of interactive animation with some games element in it, where the player have to dress the main character up with the clothes provided and base on their selection. When the player has finish dressing up the character, there will be a small description about the clothing and some history of Han Dynasty. At the same time there will be a short animation going on to show the story of the character.

Idea 2:

The title of the second idea will be “The Birth of Wrath”. 

The storyline will start of with an angel who was lovely and helpful, at the same time very innocent. And thus, he did not realize there is a dark side of the world. One day, a demon appears and allures him to see the dark side of the world. He get confuse about what he is doing right now and feel helpless after seeing the cruelty of the world. He then pass by a garden and saw the dead body of an animal, surprisingly he did not feel sad anymore. He then touches the dead body of the animal, the blood inside his body suddenly run tremendously and he feels excited when he sees the blood. The angel then involve in more and more killings, he then realize that killing in the world is not enough to fulfill his lust of blood and anger anymore. He then turns his target to his own world, which is the heaven. He returns to the heaven as usual then out of the sudden he kills most of the angels and his wing slowly turns into devil’s wing. An archangel then appears then defeats him to the eternal hell and suffers.

This work will be in the form of interactive animation as well, but it will not be in the form of game. It will be in the form of story telling where the audience will scroll vertical to read the story and the animation going on. At the same time, there will be no dialogue occurring in this interactive animation, it all depends on the background music and the expression of the characters.

Idea 3:

The tittle of third idea will be “Why?”.

The story is about a puppy that is abandoned by the roadside. It then follows the other adult dogs to survive, along the life that it live on, it keeps asking why when there is something happen. “Why is master walk away without me?” “Why is there a rope around my friend?” “Why are them suffering?” “Why there’s blood on the floor?” All the life, it just keep running away from the dog catcher and at the same time have to avoid human attacking it and other dogs. As time pass by, it is getting weaker and weaker as due to no proper nutrition and gets some beating by other human. One day, when it wanted to cross the road, it got knock down by a car and the car just left. Before it dies, what it have in it’s thought are “Why my master abandoned me?”

This work will be in the form of interactive animation as well, but it is a scrolling storybook and some clicking to the next page with some music background.
